Sa'dullah Parosh is a famous Kurdish poet who has served Kurdistan's cultural procession through his beautiful poems.
Sa'dullah Saeed Mam Sheikh is the full name of the poet and is known as Sa'dullah Parosh.
Parosh was born in 1950 in Erbil. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in the city.
Sa'dullah was passionate about poetry from the beginning of his youth.
Parosh has written poems for his country and people, for nature, beauty, love and affection. All his poems are elevating and beautiful, some of them are so delicate and cute, they have been made into songs by artists.
He has several books of poetry, his first book was published in 1969 called Koshi Aram.
He published his last book, Thirstier than Water in 2018.
He has several other books including (Nights of Loneliness, Identity of the Wind, Curse).
His poems were so sweet and interesting that they were even translated into other languages.
Parosh was a Kurdish man, so along with his cultural struggle, he participated in the September Revolution and the New Kurdistan Revolution as a Peshmerga. He served in the literary and cultural fields of these revolutions.
He was an active member of the Kurdish Writers Union. After the uprising, he was elected president of the Erbil branch of the Kurdish Writers Union. Through this professional organization, he served the literary and cultural areas of Kurdistan.
Saadullah Parosh also served as an advisor and director general of the Ministry of Culture. He played a significant role in this field.
Unfortunately, he passed away on October 29, 2020 due to coronavirus infection. His poems and literary works have been left as sweet memories, always immortal and alive.
He will always be immortalized for his literary works.[1]
