Salar Abdullah Ahmad known as Salar Tawgozi
He was born in 1983 in Sharazoor.
In 2005, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Arabic from the College of Language at Salahaddin University.
- In 2012, he obtained a master's degree in comparative literature. His master's thesis was on the structure of place in Hussein Arif's novel Helana and Burhan Shawi's Al-Jahim al-Muqaddas, which describe the Anfal, genocide and torture of Kurds by the Ba'ath regime. The master's thesis was later published by the Ministry of Culture and the Writers Union at the request of the member of the review committee (Prof. Adel Garmyani).
- In 2015, he became a doctoral student and will graduate in the next two months. His doctoral thesis is on religious character, a socio-cultural study of contemporary Iraqi novels from 2003-2016.
- He studied religious lessons in mosques in Biara, Sharazoor and Erbil for seven years.
- Since the establishment of the organization (Dabran) he was a member of the editorial board of the magazine Dabran, and worked as a member of the organization's council.
- Since 2012, he has been a lecturer at Salahaddin University, Department of Media, College of Arts, Department of Arabic Language, Erbil College of Education and Teachers College. He is currently a teacher in the Department of Arabic Language at Shaqlawa College of Education.
- In 2003, he worked as a writer, translator, presenter, director and writing secretary in the media.
- He has two books published in Arabic, one of which was printed in Tunisia.
- He has published several articles, researches and translations in Arabic and Kurdish.
- He has translated several Kurdish articles and poems into Arabic and published them in international newspapers.
- Participated in several local and foreign activities and conferences, the last of which was in February 2019 at Al-Azhar University in Egypt and several intellectual centers in the country.
- Awarded certificates of appreciation by Salahaddin University, Shaqlawa Progressive Intellectuals Association and Warmawa Cultural Directorate.
- He speaks Kurdish, Arabic, Persian and English.[1]
