He was born in 1943 in Halabja. He graduated from Sulaymaniyah Secondary School in 1963 and joined the September Revolution in the same year. In 1964, he became the head of the administrative and financial branch of the 7th Battalion in Nawroli. He was wounded in 1966. After March 11, 1970, he became the mayor of Biyara. After the cancellation of the agreement and the outbreak of war, he participated in several heroic battles in several fronts, including Zmnako, Haji Omeran, Shameran, Hassan Beg mountain and many other places in Kurdistan. In 1975, he was exiled to Iran with his family. In October 1975, he decided to return and was sent to southern Iraq. In 1979, he was sent back to Chamchamal as a municipal employee. He later returned to Sulaymaniyah, where he was attempted to be assassinated by the regime in his home because of his relationship with the revolutionary organizations in the city. In 1987, he moved to Iran with his family from Halabja and rejoined the Peshmerga forces. He became the head of the Refugee Organization and later as the KDP representative in the Kurdistan Front Committee. After the uprising in 1991, he was appointed as the representative of the Kurdistan Front Committee in one of the fronts of Sharazoor and later he started working as the administrator of Chwarta district committee. Then he was appointed as the head of Ranya area committee and then as the administrator of branch 11 and in charge of organization in that branch. With the outbreak of the civil war, he became a member of the Kirkuk-Sulaymaniyah field leadership and supervised several cultural, political and administrative institutions at that time. In 1996, he was appointed head of the general administration of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) for five years. At the 12th KDP congress, he supervised the High Election Commission in different regions. In 2011, he became a member of parliament and was sworn in. In 2005, he went to Europe as part of an official delegation of the Kurdistan Parliament. After retirement, he worked with several other people to establish the Kurdistan Parliamentarians Union. He served as the president, vice president and member of the executive committee of the union until his death on 30-03-2013 in Ankara due to heart disease.[1]
