$Biography$
In his own words:
I was born in 1922 in the village of Baqrta and Kesnazani in Koya township. I studied in Erbil until the third grade. Later, life forced me to go to Baghdad to complete my primary education I provided myself with working during my summer holidays.

$Marriage Life$
I married in 1947 and had seven children (three girls and four boys), However, one of our daughters while hiding and due to our poverty died, and one of our sons was martyred. However, the issue of children and family did not prevent me from political and party work. Because they were always with the party, and sometimes if necessary, I would leave them and the party would take care of them.

$Education$
After completing my primary education in Baghdad in 1940, I applied to the teachers' college to become a teacher, I was admitted and graduated, but I didn't become a teacher. I went to the Sports Institute in Baghdad and graduated from it in the academic year 1945-1946.
After graduating from the Sports Institute, I was employed in Erbil. From Erbil, I was transferred to Koya, where I became a physical education teacher, Mam Jalal was in primary school at that time and he went to secondary school. Mam Jalal was a very bright student. Once when he was in sixth grade, a friend of mine who was a physical education teacher asked him a question He responded very quickly and his answers were those of an adult, not a sixth grade child.

$Political Activity$
Teacher Karim Ahmad, in his narrative, talked about the motives and reasons that made him join the Communist Party and said: When I was a student at the teachers' college in 1944, I learned that there was a Communist Party. There was World War II between the Soviet Union and Germany, The names of the Soviet Union, Marxism, Leninism and Communism were mentioned. Later I discovered that there were communists in Iraq, but they were secret. That is why I made contact with the communist students in 1944. Although most of the youth were independent at that time, there were Arab, Iraqi and Kurdish national movements among the students. But all were secret organizations and were working in secret.
I was exposed to the party in 1949, when the Iraqi government declared war on the Communist Party, arrested several members of the Communist Party and executed three members of the Political Bureau, namely Comrades Fahd, Zaki Basim and Hussein Shabibi. At the same time, I was asked by the party to leave my teaching job and devote myself to party work. That year, I left my teaching position and became an accredited member. In 1951, I was arrested again and imprisoned for another two years. After my release, I went back to the party leadership in the central committee in 1953 and took over the party secretariat until 1955.
I was arrested again for the third time and sentenced to three years, Upon my expulsion, I remained under government police surveillance until 1958.
Then the July 14, 1958 revolution broke out in Iraq. At that time, Comrade Salam Adel was the Secretary of the Communist Party, I was in Kirkuk when the Communists were massacred in the 1963 Ba'athist coup, That same year we decided to join the Kurdistan Revolution, which had begun in September 1961.
