He was born in the spring of 1971 in the town of Penjwen, a town about 95 kilometers northeast of the city of #Sulaymaniyah# in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
He graduated from Chamchamal Teachers Institute, Department of English. He has been passionate about reading and writing since early childhood. He worked in acting and theater in the 1990s. Since 2000, he has worked in the media as a journalist and writer. He also works with civil society organizations as a human rights and women's activist.
He has participated in several courses and workshops conducted by local and international organizations. He has published several analytical reports, articles and interviews on political, environmental, social, economic and human rights issues in newspapers and websites.
He participated in the establishment of several media institutions such as newspapers, radio and websites. He worked in the news and politics departments of several Kurdish newspapers, such as Aso and Rojnama. He also worked as a translator and collaborator in the newspapers (Awene, Ala and Zhyanawa). He has worked as a translator, news reporter, and presenter on several radio stations (Nawa, Nawkho, Chamchamal and Hana). In addition, he has worked for several websites, such as (Sibay, Local News Agency, Penjwen).
In addition to his mother tongue, Kurdish, he speaks Arabic well and works as a translator. He is a member of the Kurdistan Union of Journalists and several human rights organizations.
He is married and is a father of four children named (Sarhang, Peshraw, Sangar and Miran).
He has a book called Kurdish Parliamentarians in Baghdad. He is currently writing and translating a new book.[1]
