Hawar Rahimi (Hawar Rehîmî) was born on September 4, 1993, in Piranshahr and received his primary and secondary education there. He graduated from Tehran's Allama Tabatabayi University with a degree in Psychology in 2011 but dropped out after two years. In 2014, he discovered his passion for writing and directing in cinema and began studying and working in this field. Hawar has written, directed, and produced two short films - Life is Lifeless (2018) and The Witching Hour (2021) - as well as a documentary called Time To Live (2023). His screenplays have been featured in several international festivals.
In 2020, Hawar Rahimi co-founded Rêtaw Film with Zanyar Muhammadineko, This company produces, distributes, and markets films at international festivals. [1]
