He was a Peshmerga during the Kurdistan Republic. He served as a lawyer in the court of Peshawar Qazi Mohammad in Mahabad.
Mam Ali Bayazidi, also known as Gourk, was born in 1920 in the village of Zindaquli in Bokan province.
In 1942, the Zhe Kaf Association was formed in Mahabad. In 1943, Mam Ali Bayazidi became a member of the Zhe Kaf Association and stayed with Mirza Mohammad Amin Mo'ini for a year. He also worked in the municipality of Mahabad for a while.
Mam Ali Bayazidi was a close friend of the Kurdish national poet Hazhar. He also served in the house of the late Mohammad Amin Mo'ini, the Interior Minister of the Kurdistan Republic, in Mahabad.
Mam Ali Bayazidi was very concerned about the experience of the Kurdistan Regional Government. So he eagerly traveled to Erbil and on his return felt proud that the KRG was making progress and looked forward to a bright future for the Kurds.
The first interview of Mam Ali Bayazidi was published in 2003 by Abdul Aziz Mawludi, a journalist and political researcher, in the Mahabad magazine, January 33, 2003.
It is worth mentioning that the memoirs of Mam Ali Bayazidi, also known as Gowrk, have been recorded in six one-hour cassettes. In order to one day include these memoirs in the historical books of that time, he took them to Erbil to be published in a book.
He passed away on Monday, July 18, 2010 at 3:30 pm Tehran time at the age of 90 due to old age and lung disease at his home in Bokan.
The body of Mam Ali Bayazidi Gourk was laid to rest on Monday evening, August 9, 2010 at 6:30 pm Tehran time in the presence of patriotic people of Bokan according to his will next to the grave of his wife. He was buried in the public cemetery of Bokan.[1]
