Hadi Ziaedini was born in 1956 in the Jorawa neighborhood of Sanandaj in a Sufi and poet-friendly family. Hadi Ziaedini is a well-known painter and sculptor in Kurdistan and the world; Before going to school, Ziaedini worked as a painter and later as a sculptor in the same primary school. In 1977, after much effort, he was admitted to the Department of Fine Arts of Tehran University of Fine Arts. After graduating from Tehran, Ziaedini returned to Sanandaj and opened an academy of drawing, painting and sculpture in the city. He has created dozens of beautiful sculptures in Iranian cities and the South Kurdistan Region. However, he is perhaps the only Kurdish painter whose name comes to mind when we talk about other fields such as poetry, literature, history and politics. Hemn, Hazhar, as well as the statue of freedom, which has become a symbol of Sanaa, and the statue of the lioness women of Kobani, which has become a symbol of heroic Kurdish girls. He recently created a large sculpture called the Anfal Painting, whose fate remains unknown like that of the victims of Anfal. About 10 years ago, the Anfal painting was requested by the Kurdistan Regional Government as a monument to commemorate the Anfal in one of the main squares in Erbil Ziaedini sent his sculpture to Erbil with the utmost artistic and national dedication, but no Kurdish street or audience has seen his sculpture.[1]
