Biography
His full name is (Hawta Asad Majid) was born in the Tairawa neighborhood in the city of #Erbil# in 1961. He completed his education in that neighborhood. He graduated from high school in Baghdad in 1987. In 1983, he entered the music scene with the song (Hey Shirine W Khanum). In 1988, he released his first cassette called (Har Min Ranjarom) with the Great King Band. In 1992, he recorded and released his second album, (Sahara). In 1993-1994, he released several songs and anthems as a single, including (Oh, my planted land, I hear you shouting for the Kurds It's the old year, load it, go again, who's Responsible?) In 1995, he released his third album, (Amoza)(Cousin), in Sweden. In 1996, he released several albums, including Barken Bron-Hoiha. In 2009, he recorded several religious and national songs. He died on #07-04-2022# and was buried in Bahrkay cemetery in Erbil. He had six children with the names Ahmad, Hasti, Hawdang, Yousef, Mohammed Hawta Asad, and Kazhe Hawta.[1]
