He is known as Mam Mirza (Uncle Mirza). He was born in the year 1937 in the Mallalar village of the city of #Bokan#. He had studied until the sixth grade of primary school. Later he started working as a farmer and became engaged in some other jobs and businesses as well. He joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) of Iran in between the years 1962-1963. He had joined the ranks of the party's Peshmergas in the year 1979. Mirza Abdullah began his struggle among the people of the Bokan area in the year 1981 as a party cadre. In the year 1988, Mam Mirza was appointed to the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's political bureau due to his advanced age. In the last two decades of his life, he held a number of duties and responsibilities such as head of the food procurement warehouse, head of the ammunition procurement, procurement and purchasing work in the Finance Commission, and inspection of party financial affairs. Since the year 2004, he has been unable to continue his party work and duties due to illness. Mirza Abdullah Jahangiri had been suffering from illness for several years. That he finally, on Friday afternoon, of 26 July (#17-07-2009# ) at the age of 72, he said bid his final farewell to all of his friends, to his comrades, and to all his loved ones. Mam Mirza's body was buried in the cemetery of the martyrs of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran on that day.[1]
