He was the son of the famous and great scholar Mullah Mohammad Zahid Ziaee, who was the founder and the first head of the education and teaching department in the city of Pawa and he was a famous mufti of the Hawraman region. Dr. Mohammad Naser Ziaee was a prominent and famous Sunni scholar in Kurdistan and he was a resident of the Pawa town which is located in Kermanshah province. He devoted all of his age to the service of the Islamic sciences and religion. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Theology and Knowledge from the University of Tehran. He was the former Friday prayer and preacher of the city of Pawa and was a ruler, Sharia judge, and teacher of the religious sciences of the schools in the city of Pawa. He played an influential and great role in the field of teaching religious sciences and was the teacher of a great number of the famous and prominent scholars of the Hawraman region. He also worked as a teacher and taught in secondary and pre-university schools in the city of Pawa for almost 30 years. He passed away at 9 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the age of 63 in Moderis Hospital in the city of Tehran. The body of Dr. Mohammad Naser Ziaee Pawaii was brought back to his birthplace in Pawa on Friday in the presence of a large number of scholars, He was buried in Pawa after the funeral ceremony with the presence of Sheikhs, masses, and various sections of the Kurdish people in Pawa.[1]
