Matilda (47) mit ihrem Verlobten Eren (23)
Matildas Verlobter Eren verschwand plötzlich, eine Abschiebung soll der Grund sein. Als kurdischer Aktivist drohen ihm in der Türkei Haft und Folter.

Sie wirkt gefasst, kann die Sorge jedoch nicht verbergen: Immer wieder muss Matilda im Gespräch mit Heute schlucken, wenn sie über das Erlebte spricht. Die 47-jährige hat eine Odyssee hinter sich – und ein Ende ist nicht in Sicht.
Verlobte verzweifelt: Er ist dort nicht sicher!

Vor zwei Jahren lernte die Mutter eines Sohnes Eren kennen. Die beiden verliebten sich und bald war klar, dass man sich gemeinsam eine Zukunft aufbauen wollte. Doch dazu sollte es nicht kommen. Der 23-jährige, der in der Türkei aufwuchs und dort als kurdischer Aktivist in der Opposition tätig war, war nach Österreich geflüchtet. Auch seine Familie kam nach Wien, der Vater wird im Heimatland aufgrund journalistischer Tätigkeiten gesucht.
Doch in der neuen Heimat sollte er nie ganz ankommen: Obwohl Eren rasch Deutsch lernte und sich bei Organisationen und Vereinen einbrachte, flatterte ein negativer Asylbescheid ins Haus. Es hieß, die Türkei sei ein sicheres Drittland. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man hier nicht differenziert, ist Verlobte Matilda verzweifelt. In der Türkei drohen ihm Haft und Folter. Er ist dort nicht sicher. Nicht als Kurde und schon gar nicht als Aktivist!
Schubhaft: Er war eine Woche isoliert
Das Paar kämpfte, ging in Berufung, engagierte Anwälte. Eine bevorstehende Abschiebung am 4. August wurde verhindert, weil Matilda im Flugzeug heftig protestierte. Am 8. August kam der nächste Bescheid. Zwei Tage später sollte eine mündliche Verhandlung stattfinden, in der über die Rechtmäßigkeit der seit einer Woche andauernden Schubhaft entschieden wird - am selben Tag der geplanten Abschiebung. Zwei Tage vor der geplanten Hochzeit des Paares wurde Eren verhaftet und ins Anhaltezentrum der Polizei in Wien-Hernals gebracht. Er war eine Woche isoliert, konnte niemanden kontaktieren, nicht einmal die Kleidung wechseln, schildert die Freundin.
Ich will nicht daran denken, was sie mit ihm machen

Heute erreichte die Wienerin am Tag der Verhandlung. Wir wissen, er wird ausreisen müssen, sagte sie noch im Gespräch. Aber wir wollen nicht, dass er das in Handschellen tut. Wir wollen heiraten, dann fliegen wir gemeinsam in die Türkei und gehen den legalen Weg, zeigte sie sich stark. Doch es sollte alles anders kommen. Zwei Stunden später war Matilda weinend am Telefon: Sie haben die Verhandlung abgesagt und Eren ohne Information bereits in der Früh mitgenommen. Ich weiß nicht wo er ist, er hat sich nicht gemeldet. Ich glaube nicht, dass er sein Handy hat.

Matilda plagt die Sorge: Ich will mir gar nicht vorstellen, was die Behörden mit ihm machen. Will nicht daran denken, dass sie ihn foltern. Es ist so schlimm. Er hat mir in den Wochen davor bereits gesagt, dass er nicht mehr kann. Dass er einfach nur sein Leben leben will. Er hat es nicht mehr ausgehalten.

Die Polizei Wien verweist bei einer Heute-Anfrage an das Innenministerium. Dort heißt es, man könne aus Datenschutzgründen keine Auskunft zu Eren geben. Man versichere jedoch, dass es in jedem Einzelfall zu einer sehr genauen und objektiven Prüfung des relevanten Sachverhaltes komme.[1]
