He was born in the year 1977 in Paweh. He holds a bachelor's degree in Quranic science from Tehran University, is a computer technician, and completed a film director course at the Iranian Youth Cinema Council's Tehran office. The short film Mafuray Dar in a Kurdish village was shot by Abdulrahman Mirani, The film tells the story of villagers whose bridge trees have been damaged by floods and the villagers have lost contact with the outside world. Some villagers manage to difficultly bring wood from far away and repair the bridge.
This film tells the story of the tireless efforts of the people of a village in Kurdistan who want to repair the bridge of their village in a poetic, artistic, and technical way.
The short film has previously been screened at various international festivals and won several important awards, including:

Special Prize in the Competition Section of the 57th Trento International Short Film Festival, Italy, in the year 2009.
First Prize in the International Competition Section of the 4th Corto Potero International Film Festival, Italy, in the year 2009.
