Deniz Jaudet Bulbun spent a life full of struggle and resistance in the service of Kurdish history, politics and language, both in the north, west and south of Kurdistan. He came to Erbil with the dream of creating a Kurdish national unity, but was asassinated by the enemy and treachery and martyred. On September 18, 2013, Deniz Jaudet Bulbun, a member and representative of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in South Kurdistan, was martyred in an armed attack on the representative office of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in Erbil. He was martyred by the Turkish MIT and the collaboration of the hand of treachery. Bulbun is one of the thousands of Kurds who were forced to leave their ancestral homeland and live in exile due to the violence and oppression of the occupying Turkish state, but he did not give up his struggle for a moment.
Deniz Jaudet Bulbun was born in 1987 in the village of Delzi Gever in the Cülemerg region of North Kurdistan. He studied in Gever until high school and went to Yuzncı IL University in Van. At all stages of his studies, he faced the imposition of Turkish language and the prohibition of Kurdish culture, language and identity. However, he never surrendered to the special war of the fascist Turkish state. On the contrary, Deniz hardened his hatred and began to fight for Kurdish history and truth. Deniz became the director of the Patriotic Students Association. Under pressure to teach Turkish and try to forget his mother tongue, he defended Kurdish language, literature and identity with great insistence. In 2011, Bulbun was arrested and imprisoned for the first time for his nationalist positions. He spent a year and a half in Letter-F prison. When he was released, he became a member of a Kurdish language research and promotion association. In 2014, he became a Kurdish language teacher at Uvesh Primary School, so that children can learn their mother tongue and speak Kurdish and read and write he served with a great passion, this will ensure that he does not stop at educating in the school and thus from 2014 to 2016, he taught Kurdish history and Kurdistan at the Political Academy of Gever. He also became a member of the Gever People's Council again, attracted the hearts of the people and became very active during the work and struggle of the council. He later participated in the resistance of the Northern Self-Government in Gever. Although Deniz Jaudet was forced to leave North Kurdistan and his hometown due to the oppression of the Turkish state, he did not give up and initially went there to see the freedom revolution in West Kurdistan up close. He remained in the struggle and revolution for three years, during which time he deepened his work in the field of Kurdish literature research and began to write a book on the subject. He came to Erbil in 2019 and stayed there until his martyrdom. One of Deniz's dreams was to form a Kurdish national unity, so that Kurdish society could live freely. The KNK had made it its goal to achieve this union, and for that purpose he became a member and representative of the KNK in South Kurdistan. Last year, as the representative of the KNK in South Kurdistan, he carried out many works, struggles and diplomatic activities, leaving behind a legacy full of struggle and resistance. In the hopes that one day his dreams and goals will come true, above all the formation of national unity among the Kurds.[1]
