تاریک و لێڵ بێ ئاسمانی شینت
ئاﮪ و هەناسەی دڵەی خەمگینت
داپۆشێ تیشکی خۆری زێڕینت
هەڵوەرێ پەڕەی گوڵ و نەسرینت
لە جێی گوڵ و دڕک دەرکا زەمینت
بەهارت، پایز، زستان، هاوینت
لە باتیی بولبول بوومی باڵ شینت
بخوێنێ لەسەر خاکی حەزینت
شادیت شیوەن بێ بەموددەی ژینت
بۆ جگەرگۆشە و ڕۆڵەی شیرینت
کوردە تۆ بگری بۆ قارەمانت
بۆ لاوی چاک و مەردی مەیدانت
بۆ باغەوانی باغی ژیانت
بۆ ڕەمزی بەرزیی شەرەف و شانت
بۆ ئەوەی لە ڕێی عیززەتی نەفسا
بێ باکانە خۆی کردە قوربانت
بگری بۆ وەفا و سەخا و حەمییەت
بگری بۆ غیرەت، هیممەت، جیددییەت
بگری تا ماوی بۆ «مەحموود جەودەت»
شادیت شیوەن بێ بەموددەی ژینت
بۆ جگەرگۆشە و ڕۆڵەی شیرینت
وەتەن تۆ حەقتە هەر هاوارت بێ
کێ لە دوای «مەحموود» فیداکارت بێ
کێی تر دڵسۆزی جان نیسارت بێ
دوژمن بەجەستەی حاڵی زارت بێ
کۆچ کردەی ئازیز بەخوام سپاردی
هەزاران ڕەحمەت لە مەزارت بێ
«جنة المأوى» جێ و قەرارت بێ
سەبووریی دڵەی کەس و کارت بێ
ئەی وەتەن بیستی تەشرینی سانی
ڕۆژی ماتەم و غەم شیعارت بێ
