GİRİŞ:
Toplumsal bir varlık olan insan; insan olma bilincine ulaşıp, konuşma yetisine kavuşunca bilgilenme sürecine girer. İnsan; yaşam dünyasında bilgilenerek üretim aşamasıyla süreç içinde uygarlaşır. Yazıyla birlikte insan; duygu ve düşüncelerini taşlara, sanat yapıtlarına, yazıtlara işler, yazar... Arkeolojik kazılardan elde edilen bulgulardan öğrendiğimize göre; insanlığın her döneminde bayramlar vardır. Nevruz, eski takvime göre Mart ayının 9’unda başlar. ( Miladi takvim 21 Mart) Kutlamalar genellikle 3 gün sürer. Bu günde özel törenler yapılır. Çeşitli anma günlerinin örtüştüğü 21 Mart, Nevruz Bayram olarak Sümerlerden beri kutlana gelmektedir.Yılbaşı olarak da kabul edilen bu gün Orta Asya’dan Balkanlar’a değin de kutlanmaktadır.[1]
