Sakina, a Kurdish activist in East Kurdistan, was arrested by security forces in the autumn of 2019 for visiting her family in the Kurdistan Region. After being transferred to Marivan and Sanandaj prisons, she was sent to Evin prison in Tehran. On #02-09-2020# she and another fellow prisoner named #Mozhgan Kavousi# went on hunger strike.
Sakina Parwana's lawyer, Payam Dorfshan, who is currently in prison, said she had been sentenced to five years in prison.[1]
