Das einleitende Zitat dieser Arbeit spiegelt den Diskurs um die vorliegend zu untersuchende Thematik programmatisch wider. Im Laufe der letzten Jahrzehnte hat sich in Deutschland eine Perspektive entwickelt, in deren Rahmen Migration und Integration in einen von Fremdheit beherrschten Bezugsrahmen eingebettet wurden (Sökefeld 2004: 10). Diese Fremdheit wird in Politik, Medien und zum Teil ebenfalls in der Wissenschaft als kulturell bedingt und als Problem interpretiert. Durch den derartig verzerrten, auf schematischen Darstellungen beruhenden, Diskurs der Gegenwart wird ein Großteil der gesellschaftlichen Konflikte in Deutschland in kulturelle oder ethnische Konflikte umgedeutet [1]
