His full name is Fouad Ahmad Sulaiman, he belongs to the Nanakali tribe and his father was the late artist Ahmad Tabib, Who is a very well-known personality and artist of the area and of the city of Erbil in general. The artist Fouad Ahmad was born in 1932 in the village of Awene in Gwer region. He went to school in the year 1940 and graduated from the teachers' college in Duhok. He first became a teacher in the village of Alla (Abdullah Gujilan) and Azaban Hill and, in several other places; Fouad Ahmad had eight children from two wives. From the years 1959 to 1970, Fouad Ahmad was in charge of the artistic movement. He for the first time went to Baghdad station in 1955; He recorded his first anthem called Newroz. In 1959, he recorded the song Amirkam (My Princess); Then the songs Namakat Gasht (Your Letters Arrived) and Sarway Bayan (Morning Breeze) and several other songs. In 1963, he recorded his first black and white song, (Ay Buki Nwe) O New Bride. By 1986, he had recorded about 100 songs on the station and 50 songs on television.
