He was born on 21-03-1938 in Koya.
He received his PhD in Philosophy from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

In addition to his mother tongue, he speaks Arabic, Persian and a little English.
He has participated in several committees for master's and doctoral theses in Kurdistan universities.
He has published a book entitled (The Safa Brothers - Their Philosophy and Their End).
He has published several articles in Kurdish and Arabic newspapers.
He is the owner of Kurdistan New newspaper.
He is married and has five daughters.
