Nariman Mohammed Arif, also known as Nariman Baban, was born in Sulaymaniyah. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Sulaymaniyah. He graduated from the College of Literature, Department of History in Mosul. In 1983 he founded the Baban Music Band and served Kurdish art in the band until 1993. In 1995 he left the country and settled in Germany. Nariman Baban has 68 works, most of which are his own, in addition to composing for many other artists.[1]
