He was born in 1890 in Albaki area of Van, Northern Kurdistan. His father was Sayyid Mohammed Partaw of Sayyid Abdulqadir Geylani family. His mother was Imatula daughter of Haji Tayarbeg of Abbasid family. He received his religious education and license from his younger brothers Sayyid Abdulhakim Arwasi and Sayyid Tahay Arwasi. He graduated from the Institute of Financial Personnel in Ankara and graduated from Istanbul University. His wife was Hidayat Aziz and he had four children. He died on #09-02-1958# in Istanbul and was buried in Necati Beg Cemetery.[1]
