He was born in the year 1961 in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Chuarbakh neighborhood. He is one of the artists who has been involved in artistic life since his youth. He began to paint in a simple and unlimited way, he was greatly influenced by the world artist Vincent van Gogh, At an early age, he became interested in art and painting. In 1977, he became a regular student at the Youth Center under the guidance of artists Kamil Ahmad and Lalo Abda until 1980, His works reflect the beauty of Kurdistan's nature and his colors are the colors of the sun and greenery at the same time, and the influence of his nation's miserable life and successive tragedies is largely reflected in his paintings, In 1993, the artist was officially invited to France to participate in an art exhibition in Paris. entitled (Art in Anfal). He has been living in the Netherlands since 1994 and has participated in various exhibitions and activities in Kurdistan and Europe. In 1978, Aras opened his first solo exhibition at Goizha Gallery in Sulaymaniyah. From 1977 to 1994, he opened exhibitions in Sulaymaniyah, Erbil, and Duhok. Since 1994, he has participated in several solo exhibitions and joint exhibitions in the Netherlands, France, Austria, Germany and England. The artist has always had a sense of nationalism and oppression of his people in his mind, which has caused a kind of sadness and anger in all his works, as Dutch artists always point out at the opening of his exhibitions.[1]
