Khangul Masirzadeh was born in the year 1941 in the village of Ughaz in Khorasan, she was still very young when her parents passed away. She was still 4 months old when her father passed away later her mother too passed away and she was raised by her aunts. Khangul grew up in poverty without parental care, in the parties and the events she was singing for people for a small amount of money, working in the gardens to earn a living. Khangul's youth and childhood were spent working in the gardens of Khorasan. She married twice, but unfortunately, the result of both marriages was divorce. And thus this made mother Khangul even more isolated. Mother Khangul sang Khorasan Kurdish songs very well, in fact she was a master in that field. When someone would ask her to sing, her eyes would brighten, she would think silently for a while, then she would choose a song from the bottom of her heart, and begin with a deep breath. Mother Khangul's movements and singing style were unprecedented. Daya Khangul had a large number of old Kurdish songs, but unfortunately due to dementia and lack of support, her works have not been recorded except for an album called Kirmanj Women's Melody. Last time on the day 28-03-2020 Mother Khangul passed away. Mother Khangul was one of the national artists of Khorasan who was not paid attention like most of the ancient artists of Khorasan and her expertise and art went underground with her body.[1]
