Tanya Arab Osman Jarjis was born in 1952 in Tayrawa neighborhood of Erbil. He dropped out of secondary school due to the difficult living conditions and the death of his father In 1976, he recorded his first album called Blue Shepherd and has done dozens of beautiful and excellent works for Kurdish art. Tanya Arab is considered to be one of the most important sources of hairan in Erbil.[1]
